The AV Fair & Event Center Motorsports Committee is hosting a one-day race event, titled Motor Mayhem on March 23rd 2019. The day will consist of four races: stock figure 8, modified figure 8, autocross, and modified demolition derby. Several blocks on Lancaster Blvd are closed off to traffic for farmer's market vendors that include fruit, vegetables, food vendors, kettlecorn, live bands (during the concert series in the spring), and more. The City of Lancaster partners with Raw Inspiration, a non-profit operator for California Certified Farmers Markets, to offer a weekly BLVD Market.
