Littlerock is a small residential community located just east of Palmdale California near highway 138. Littlerock is named after the Little Rock Wash that passes through the area and is known as "The Fruit Basket" of the Antelope Valley. The area is known for its orchards of fruit trees such as almonds, apples, peaches and pears. Pearblossom is located about 15 miles southeast of Palmdale California and is just a few miles from Littlerock. The name Pearblossom came from the multitude of local pear farms along the southern ridge of the Antelope Valley. A few still exist today but most of those farms are now abandoned and have returned to the desert landscape . Pearblossom is also a popular destination for its annual Duck Races, hiking in the foothills and picturesque photo opportunities.
